The Simrad NSS12 evo3S is a premium 12-inch multifunction chartplotter/fishfinder built around a SolarMAX™ IPS display and high-performance iMX 8 processor. It combines navigation, built-in 1 kW CHIRP sonar, radar and autopilot integration, marine networking and wireless connectivity in a single helm display.

Built-In Sonar

NSS12 evo3S includes a built-in high-performance echosounder with 1 kW CHIRP capability. Its two 9-pin Xsonic sonar ports support different sonar configurations depending on the connected transducer and system hardware.

• Sonar Port 1: single-channel CHIRP, 50/200 kHz and HDI support
• Sonar Port 2: single-channel CHIRP, 50/200 kHz, TotalScan, LSS HD and ForwardScan support
• Compatible with supported network sonar systems including SonarHub and other compatible Simrad echo-sounder modules

Available sonar functions, frequencies, imaging views and depth capability depend on the exact transducer and/or sonar module connected to the display.

Navigation & Cartography

This exact SKU includes preloaded C-MAP US Enhanced charts. Simrad states that the US chart package includes high-resolution bathymetry with 1-foot contours, easy-routing capability and C-MAP Reveal data in Florida.

The NSS evo3S platform also supports additional compatible charting products from supported providers.
