The Raymarine Ray53 is a compact fixed-mount marine VHF radio with Class D Digital Selective Calling (DSC), an integrated GPS/GNSS receiver and marine-network connectivity. GPS / GNSS
Ray53 includes an internal 72-channel GNSS receiver supporting GPS and GLONASS, with SBAS support including WAAS, EGNOS and MSAS. The receiver updates position at 10 Hz.
For installations where the radio is mounted below deck, inside an enclosed pilothouse or in another location with poor satellite reception, Ray53 provides a TNC connection for a compatible passive external GNSS antenna.
